The Belles
Meet our team of badass women!
The Belles were formed in 2014. The team started off with only a handful of ladies. They had to 'borrow' players from other teams to compete in tournaments, but since then they have grown in such capacity that they are now able to play full team interclub games! Every year their numbers increase as the friendly, welcoming air of the Belles draws new players from all over Thailand.
The Belles are a force to be reckoned with as they boast a few tournament wins, such as the RSBC Rugby 10's Tournament, Cambodia 10's and the Phuket 10's.
They work just as hard off the pitch and can regularly be found supporting the men's teams, charity events and local watering holes!

Delphine La Guillon
Co-Captain / Hooker

Currently our Women's Touch Player of the Year, Belles Player's Player and Belles Player of the Year.

Delph is an OG Belle. She's been around since Day 1. Although she has mostly played hooker, she can be trusted to fill in almost any position on the pitch.

Delph has many great memories with the team, but her highlights include the Belle's first ever tour to the Philippines in 2014, the teams' first Bangkok 10's tournament, consecutive victories at the Cambodia and Phuket 10's and of course all of the socials!

She can be found at just about every Bangers gathering and you can rely on her as your local friendly face at the club.

Prye Wongsirimana
Co-Captain / Flyhalf / Scrumhalf

Prye has been part of the Belles since 2016. This is her first year as the Belles co-captain.

Her favorite memory is winning back-to-back tournaments at the Phuket 10's, dressing up in fun themes on just about every tour, and of course, playing rugby. She was also happy to meet new people through the club, especially certain members that may or may not co-captain the Colts. ;)

Prye is known for her iconic poses, dress up and subbing skills. A great asset to the team that we're grateful to have.

Yee Sanhajariya
Wing / Half Back

When Yee is on the field everyone knows it. Her skill and speed have earned her many Player of the Match acknowledgements.

She's been with the Belle's since 2017 and highlights her favorite memories with the team as the Friday's before tours, rushing to the airport full of excitement for the events ahead.

She can typically be found snoozing in corners at socials or losing her passport on tour.

Georgia Welsh
Flyhalf / Center

G's first game with the Belles was in February 2018 in Vientiane where she first met the girls while on tour.

She loved playing just about any position as long as she got the chance to play, but has now retired from contact and can be found coaching our team of amazing ladies.

The Bangers and Belles have created some painful memories yet also some of the best at the same time. G says she has laughed so much due to the club and unfortunately can't be specific about her memories as 'what happens on tour, stays on tour'. The tours however have been her best memories.

She has remained a key member of the Belles despite her injuries and is one of the main reasons the Belles have grown in numbers, skills, and confidence. Thank you, G!

Charlotte Holt
Prop

Char has moved from strength to strength which has earned her the Belles Most Improved Player in the last season.

She is not only one of our fastest runners, but also a master at hand-offs and a karaoke queen.

Palm Samanuhat
Prop / Second Row

This gem joined the Belles a year ago and has had such a big impact already. Her ready-for-anything attitude earned her the Newbie of the Year award.

Palm loves being a Belle. She says that the best part of being in the team is that you don't need to be the best rugby player, you just need to play the best that you can and the girls will be happy with that.

She can be found hogging the microphone at karaoke nights or slip 'n sliding across the field as the Banger's unofficial watergirl.

Krishna van Aardt
Back Row

Yet another smiley face to join the Belles in the last year, Krish is best known in the Belles for giggling whilst being tackled.

As a South African, she finds comfort in being surrounded by rugby and considers it a little bit of home.

Her favorite part of being in the club has been meeting so many cool, interesting people as well as having countless events to attend.

Angelique Muller
Lock

Yet another girl to join the Belles with no experience in rugby other from what she watched on TV.

The Belles were patient and helpful as ever and have helped her grow in confidence and ambition in the sport.

Her favorite memory is from the Bangkok 10's tournament in 2020. It was her first time playing rugby and she got to play for as well as against every team that weekend. Every one was so friendly and understanding. There's no better way to learn than jumping right in!

Nok Luxsana
Wing

Lovely Nok joined the Belles in February 2021.

When Nok first joined the Belles she considered rugby to be scary and was hesitant to participate in any contact games. However, after playing an interclub game she learned that the sport was a lot of fun. She now says rugby is her favorite sport and enjoys being on the pitch with the Belles and appreciates their support and teaching from the training field to the games. She even considers herself to be one of the more aggressive players on the field.

Nok is quite popular for scoring 'tries' on the 5 meter line and being the only one of the Belles to tackle the fastest player in the Thai nationals team.
